The Whitehall Nursery School was established in 1971 as a result of a desire to serve the children and young families in the Fairmont area. The nursery school is a ministry of the Whitehall Church of Christ, and meets in the lower level of the church building.
The school serves children aged 3 and 4 with a curriculum that includes kindergarten readiness skills such as learning and writing the alphabet, spelling and writing their name, colors, shapes, phonics, show & tell, library, computer, Bible stories, snacks, playtime, developing gross and fine motor skills, art, singing and much more. Parents are welcome to visit at any time and tours of the facilities can be easily arranged. Each year also includes special events such as a field trip each semester, seasonal parties, a Thanksgiving feast, year-end picnic for the three year olds, and a graduation ceremony for the four year olds.
